Previously on HBO newest creation, Game of Thrones, dangers lurks in every corner of the wall while the game of death already started. Lady Catelyn Stark who is the wife of Ned Stark, leads her entourage east through the Mountains of the Moon to get to the Vale, with Tyrion Lannister as her prisoner. However, they are soon attacked by barbarian tribesmen where Tyrion help them. Catelyn and her entourage arrive at the Eyrie, ruled by Lord Jon's widow, Lysa , who is Catelyn's sister, but when she finally meets her sister after five years, Lysa is mentally unstable and frightened of the Lannister's power while her son on her side got shocking sickness.
Consumed by anger, Lysa ordered to send Tyrion the Eyrie's dungeon, the "sky cells" which opens to a sheer drop down a mountainside, whilst Lysa prepares to render judgment on him as an accomplice for her husband's murder. And while Catelyn is taking things in control, Ned finds himself in unstable ground. After he convinces King Robert Baratheon to not to join the Tourney, the crowds watches a jousting match between Ser Gregor Clegane and "The Knight of Flowers", Ser Loras Tyrell which the latter wins. However, Gregor doesn't takes his loss well and attempts to kill Loras but Sandor "The Hound" Clegane comes to Loras's rescue and defends him against his brother until Robert orders them to stop. Grateful for rescuing him, Loras calls Sandor a hero where he is cheered by the crowd.
While the crowed are having a good time at the tournament, Arya who never stick in one place, continues her sword training but later end-up chasing a cat and who would thought that she will overheard the dangerous plan of Varys and Magister Illyrio who are plotting to throw the Seven Kingdoms into chaos to allow the Dothraki to invade easily. But the sudden news that Daenerys Targaryen's is pregnant might force them to speed up their plans which Illyrio suggests to assassinate Ned to stall for time. Trembling in fear for her father safety, Arya warn her father but is unable to identify the two plotters. And with wife standing in bravery against odd, Ned is the one who accept the fall back, and it started with Jaime Lannister who ambush his men and leave him wounded.
