We All know Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie was originated from the Wizards of Waverly Place the series. A Disney Original Series. The series was created by Todd J. Greenwald, starring Alex (Selena Gomez), Justin (David Henrie) and Max (Jake T. Austin) as the three siblings with magical abilities which they got from their former wizard father.
The three will have a wizard’s competition to decide who will become the family wizards of their generation and keep the powers. The loser might live as a normal or mortal. The series become a hit and popular to everyone. Maybe that's the reason why Disney Channel come-up a plan of producing a movie similar to the most-viewed Wizards of Waverly Place series.
To make the story short, the movie version of the popular series is being aired and was reported as a second most-viewed film premiere after High School Musical 2. The film premiere was watched by 11.4 million people.
