Watch The Vampire Diaries season 2 episode 1: The Return Online - Aside from True Blood, The Vampire Diaries made famous by its non-stop vampire’s stories and other creatures. All the characters on the show plays a major rule but the story fallow the tree main characters Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls in love with vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), and soon finds herself caught in a love triangle between Stefan and his older brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) while the brothers are also being haunted by the past they've had with Katherine Pierce (played by Nina Dobrev as well). The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural–fantasy horror television series developed by Kevin Williamson, based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith.
Its season 2 opens-up with lots of enthusiasm and challenge, The Vampire Diaries season 2 episode 1: The Return picks-up where season 1 ends. Elena arrives home to a nightmare as she discovers Uncle John’s and Jeremy’s fate as well as face-to-face with her mirror image of Katherine. At the hospital, Sheriff Forbes is comforted by Matt, Bonnie, and Damon while she waits to hear if Caroline will survive the car accident. After a confusing conversation with ‘Elena’ about the night’s events, Damon is the first to realize that Katherine has returned and is now impersonating Elena. Meanwhile, still reeling from his father’s death, Tyler is surprised when his charming and mysterious uncle, Mason Lockwood, arrives in town to console him.
